In the third division, after the first English week on Tuesday and Wednesday, the seventh matchday continues in quick succession. Among other things, it will be interesting to see whether the promoted 1. FC Saarbrücken, who stormed to the top of the table despite a less played game, will be able to confirm their previous performances against the also well-started co-promoted SC Verl.
Equal on points in second place but the full six games, Viktoria Köln is followed by another surprise team, which is now facing a high hurdle at Hansa Rostock. Like Dynamo Dresden, FC Ingolstadt and TSV 1860 Munich, the Ostseestädter are among the most highly rated, and at the moment it looks like they are in the promotion race. At 1. FC Kaiserslautern, which, together with VfB Lübeck, is the only team still without a win, this is not the case after four points from six games.
As is well known, things can go very quickly in the 3rd division, as last season with the catch-up chases of FC Bayern Munich II and the Würzburger Kickers showed. We have now decided on three matches again on the seventh matchday, which we want to take a closer look at.
Hansa Rostock vs Viktoria Cologne Soccer Betting Tips
After a weak start with only one point from the first two games, Viktoria Köln has now lined up four wins and is therefore without a doubt one of the best form teams in the third division. Away, the team of coach Pavel Dotchev is still unbeaten with seven points from three games and is now travelling confidently to Rostock with the 3-2 win against FC Bayern Munich II on Wednesday behind them.
There is an opponent waiting there with FC Hansa who recently had a hard time in their own stadium in the draw against KFC Uerdingen (0-0) and TSV 1860 Munich (1: 1), but the youngest, anything but easy Away games at SC Verl (3: 2) and Waldhof Mannheim (2: 1) won. Now the team of coach Jens Härtel, who led 1. FC Magdeburg into the 2. Bundesliga three years ago wants to win again at home and at the same time overtake Viktoria. Because both teams are in a good mood, we expect an open game at a high third division level. Ultimately, we see Rostock a bit stronger and therefore believe that the Härtel team will land a close home win.

SpVgg Unterhaching vs TSV 1860 Munich Soccer Betting Tips
The seventh matchday will be concluded with the Upper Bavarian derby between SpVgg Unterhaching and TSV 1860 Munich, which in the table are eight places but only two points apart. With a win, Haching could overtake the third-placed lion. After three wins in a row, however, the Munich suburbs lost two games in a row at 1. FC Saarbrücken (1: 2) and against MSV Duisburg (0: 1), in which there would have been more in each case. Around 1860 Munich, trainer Arie van Lent and his protégés now want to turn things around again and orientate themselves upwards.
Of course, the Munich Lions want to prevent that after a strong ten points from the first four games last weekend at Hansa Rostock (1: 1) only with a good deal of luck at the first defeat and now on Wednesday 1. FC Saarbrücken defeated 1: 2. It will be interesting to see how coach Michael Köllner’s team can cope with this setback. Apart from the Munich home win against Lübeck (4: 1), all games of both clubs in the season so far have been tight affairs. In the derby, too, we expect tension right through to the end but believe in a positive ending for what we consider to be a somewhat stronger sixties.
