Reading star Shane Long has rejected reports linking him with a January move to West Ham.
Hammers boss Avram Grant is keen to bolster his attacking options in this month’s transfer window and Long has been mentioned as a possible target.
Long has been in fine form of late, netting six goals in his last five games, to fuel speculation over a possible move away.
However, the Republic of Ireland international insists he is going nowhere and that he is happy to stay at the Madejski Stadium.
“There’s always rumours going around and there were a lot in the summer as well,” said Long.
“I’m enjoying my football here at Reading at the moment and I know this team is destined for big things and I want to be a part of that. I just have to concentrate on my own game and what will be will be.
“These things happen if you’re scoring goals, but I’m just enjoying my football. I want to be part of a good Reading side right now.”
