New Zealand batsman Jesse Ryder has courted controversy by criticising a team-mate on Twitter during a domestic one-day game.
Ryder let rip after being run out whilst playing for Wellington in a clash against Northern Districts.
On returning to the dressing room, the left-hander vented his spleen at team-mate Stephen Murdoch who had left him high and dry.
Ryder tweeted: “I just got run out by my other batter. What a waste of time this day is. I love getting left high and dry by my other batter.”
New Zealand Cricket has revealed it will not take disciplinary action against Ryder, 26, but said his tweeting was ill-advised.
