The bookmaker offers Finland against Armenia according to odds in favorite role. In the first round, the Finns prevailed abroad against the coming opponent. With the home advantage is now the second victory against the pursuer in the group J succeed.

Today’s Betting Tips Finland vs Armenia

Finland is playing one of the strongest qualifications in the association’s history this year. So far, the Finnish national team has never been able to qualify for a major competition, which is why with four wins from the first four group matches the euphoria in the country was great. After two defeats in a row, everything is balanced again.

If Finland are also in the home game against Armenia points and wins Bosnia against Greece in parallel play, the second group place is already lost this matchday. However, Finland’s Uhus have not come up with very many arguments in the recent qualifier against Bosnia to give Armenians a chance to predict their hosts.

Finland – Statistics & Current Form

Finland must once again be afraid of qualifying for a competition. For the first time in quite some time, the Finns have realistic chances for a possible European Championship ticket. Since the European Championship qualifier in 2008, where Finland had narrowly missed the European Championship as a group fourth, there was no qualifying round for the Uhus in the European Championship or World Cup, where a progress was really expected.

However, in this calendar year, Finland has played a lot and has claimed four wins from the first four group games. Due to the recent two defeats by Italy (1: 2) and Bosnia (1: 4), the euphoria and hope for the first time reaching a final round quickly fizzled again.

Only two points separate the Finnish Uhus from the third and fourth place. Already after this matchday the so important second group place could be given out of hand. Therefore Finland can not afford to miss the home game against Armenia. A home win is mandatory under the current circumstances.

At home Finland have lost only twice in their last 13 international matches. Finland have beaten Bosnia and Greece in this European Championship qualifier just before the narrow home defeat by Italy. In both home games, the Finnish selection conceded no goal.

The white-blue players have already gambled away the good starting point. With a point win against Bosnia and a home win over Armenia the Finnish selection would have been almost certainly the European Championship ticket. But how does Lothar Matthäus say so beautifully: “Would be, bicycle chain”.

Finland coach Markku Kanerva can continue to call on his best squad. Most valuable player in his squad is currently Teemu Pukki, who has shown considerable performances in this competitive season at the club level. In the previous European Championship qualification Pukki has scored five of the nine previous Finland goals.

On Tuesday evening, the Finnish national team no changes are expected. If Finland wins against Armenia, odds of 1.65 will be paid if successful.

Expected lineup of Finland:
➱ Hradecky – Raitala, Arajuuri, Toivio, Uron – Sparv – Soiri, Kamara, Lod, Tuominen – Pukki

Last matches of Finland:

⚽️ 12.10.2019 – Bosnia vs Finland 4: 1 (European Championship Qualification)
⚽️ 08.09.2019 – Finland vs. Italy 1: 2 (European Championship Qualification)
⚽️ 05.09.2019 – Finland vs. Greece 1: 0 (European Championship Qualification)
⚽️ 11.06.2019 – Liechtenstein vs Finland 0: 2 (European Championship Qualification)
⚽️ 08.06.2019 – Finland vs. Bosnia 2: 0 (European Championship Qualification)

Armenia – Statistics & Current Form

Armenia is doing far better than Finland. So far, participation in a World or European Championship has never really been a topic, especially as Armenia has never been among the group favorites. As an underdog, the Armenian selection in the previous qualifications for the major competitions never convinced.

For the first time now there is a realistic chance for the European Championship ticket. The Armenians are two points behind Finland and can already conquer the second group rank with a surprising away win. Unlike the Finns, however, Armenia still have to play against Italy, who have already qualified for the European Championship finals.

The starting position certainly does not speak for a progress of the Armenian national team. Coach Armen Gyulbudaghyants is optimistic, however, that his team can still realize the sensation. In the recent qualifier against Lichtenstein, the great euphoria will be quickly gone. The 1: 1 draw left two important points.

Armenia was again vulnerable on the defensive and conceded a goal against the big underdog from Lichtenstein. With twelve conceded goals from the first seven group matches, the weak ideas of the Armenia defense were thus continued.

In a foreign country, the Armenian selection is now the next game. Surprisingly, the Armenians have been able to win against Greece so far and lost just barely against Bosnia. In the last twelve away games, however, there were only two wins for the Armenian national team, which is why an away win after the recent performance seems unlikely.

The 30-year-old midfielder is missing due to injury. The squad of Armenians is thus manageable. Most valuable player is currently Sargis Adamyan, who is in the Bundesliga at Hoffenheim under contract.

Expected formation of Armenia:
➱ Hayrapetyan – Hovhannisyan, Haroyan, Ishkhanyan, Hambardzumyan – Hovsepyan, Pizzelli, Ghazaryan – Adamyan, Parapetyan, Barseghyan

Last matches of Armenia:

⚽️ 12.10.2019 – Liechtenstein vs Armenia 1: 1 (European Championship Qualification)
⚽️ 08.09.2019 – Armenia Vs. Bosnia 4: 2 (European Championship Qualification)
⚽️ 05.09.2019 – Armenia Vs. Italy 1: 3 (European Championship Qualification)
⚽️ 11.06.2019 – Greece vs. Armenia 2: 3 (European Championship Qualification)
⚽️ 08.06.2019 – Armenia Vs. Liechtenstein 3: 0 (European Championship Qualification)

Finland vs Armenia Direct Comparison

In the first round of this year’s European Championship qualification, there was a 2-0 away win for Finland. At home, Finland recorded a 1-0 victory (2006) and a 3-1 win (2004) in their two home games against Armenia.

Finland vs Armenia Are Soccer Betting Tips Analyzed

Finland is standing with her back to the wall. After two defeats in a row, the ticket for the European Championship 2020 is in danger again. Another point loss would be difficult to cope with under the current circumstances. However, in contrast to the pursuers Armenia and Bosnia, Finland have already played both group games against Italy and probably have the best cards for progressing in the group in a possible home win over Armenia.

The home game against Armenia is groundbreaking. If Finland lose for the third time in a row, Armenia moves up to second group rank. At home, the Finnish Uhus have lost but only two of the last 13 internationals and go accordingly confident in the Armenia game.

Key facts – Finland vs Armenia tips

♦️ With Henrikh Mkhitaryan missing a key player in the Armenians.
♦️ Finland have lost only two of the last 13 home games.
♦️ Armenia did not get past a 1-1 draw at their recent away fixture in Lichtenstein.

Armenia lack Mkhitaryan, a key player in the team. In addition to the defensive vulnerability, which was confirmed once again in the 1-1 draw against Lichtenstein, the offensive of the Armenians was not in great shape.
