Saracens have confirmed centre Kameli Ratuvou is facing six months on the sidelines following surgery on his knee.

The Fijian suffered the injury attempting to stop Gloucester’s Charlie Sharples scoring on Saturday, with Ratuvou having to be stretchered off.

Ratuvou will now undergo a lengthy spell of rehabilitation, with the 29-year-old joining fellow centre Adam Powell and fly-half Alex Goode in the treatment room.

Powell has been ruled out for three months with a shoulder injury, while Goode is likely to be out for a month after suffering a torn quad muscle.
